As the artist, I have the right to decline a commission, no questions asked.

CHARACTER INFO:

I prefer visual references for non-design work. I may charge an extra fee if no references are provided.
I may but rarely take artistic liberty on a character's' clothes or accessories. Please notify me beforehand if these are important.

WORKING PROCESS:

All customers will receive the high resolution .png of the artwork on completion.
The final image will be shown to the customer before posting, for any edits that may be needed.
I reserve the right to refuse overly extensive revisions and complex alterations of missing or misrepresented elements due to unclear information.
There will be no edits after the final image has been posted, any additional edits will be charged an additional fee. Fees will be based on time spend to apply the change.
Turnaround may vary. I will message the customer if anything should come up that may delay the commission.

PAYMENT AND REFUND POLICY:

I prefer payments up front.
I only accept money via Pay-pal invoices in USD.
I start on commissions as soon as payment is received.
I will not take payment in any form of cryptocurrency. The commission will be refunded and the client will be blacklisted.
I will not work with deadlines, but you may ask for a refund at any time. Refunds are based on the amount of work finished.

COPYRIGHT:

Alterations to the image are not allowed without being notified.
I retain full commercial and distribution rights on any image I produce.
In no way or form am I claiming the character(s) drawn in my commissioned images.
The commissioner may repost the commission. A proper credit would be appreciated.
The commissioner may use the commission image as they please for personal use only.
No art or related works made by Waxswans may be used as ai models, or used to train any form of ai program.
No art or related works made by Waxswans may be used in any blockchain-related technology, to include nfts, cryptocurrency, or any future inventions in the space.

^{Why are reposts not allowed?}

^{Yes. My commission waitlist is usually always open. I don't plan on ever 'officially' opening as my free time for art fluctuates.}

^{You may place your request through my vgen account. Requests are accepted one at a time by date received. This means I only send an invoice for the next commission after the previous one is completed. If the request isn't placed on the waitlist, it won't be accepted.}

^{I wouldn't recommend sending a request if you are looking for artwork with quick turnaround. I would prefer to keep the process fair for everyone, and will not bump any request to the front of the list. You are free to cancel a request at any time.}

^{I no longer take on character design commissions. If you REALLY want me to design a character for you please note that I will charge an additional $100 and upwards fee depending on how complex the request is.}

ADOPTABLE RULES:

Reselling and Trading:	^{Designs may only be resold for the price paid for them, with the exception of additional art (with the original artist's permission.) Please do not charge extra for any gift art and freebies acquired. Designs obtained in trades should only be traded. Designs given for free (gift, raffle, etc.) may not be traded or sold without explicit permission. My designs are not allowed to be sold in 'bulk sales' or grouped together for sale with other artist's designs.}
Reposting:	^{Reposting owned designs is allowed (credit appreciated.) Please consider watermarking artwork if reposting designs. Please be careful and responsible with an artist’s artwork. Do not repost my art/adopts if you are not the owner of the character(s) depicted.}
Co-owning:	^{I will not settle any disputes between multiple owners/customers who purchase a design to share.}
Edits:	^{Any edits that alter my personal artwork are required to be confirmed through me before use.}
Commerical Work:	^{Customers are allowed to create and purchase personal products of their designs - including but not limited to - charms, buttons, plushies, etc. Products intended for mass production or being sold for profit are not allowed without permission.}
